Isotroin 5 Capsule helps treat acne by reducing the production of sebum (a natural substance) that causes acne. This kills acne-causing bacteria and prevents spots or pimples from appearing. It usually takes a few weeks to have a noticeable effect so keep taking it even if it appears not to be working.

Isotretinoin is used to treat severe types of acne (such as nodular or conglobate acne, or acne that is at risk of causing permanent scarring) in adults and adolescents. You will use Isotretinoin when your acne has not got better with anti-acne treatments, including antibiotics and skin treatments.

Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat acne. It works as an antiseptic to reduce the number of germs (bacteria) on the surface of your skin. It's usually one of the first treatments recommended for mild to moderate acne. It comes as a gel or face wash containing 5% benzoyl peroxide.
